Hello!  I was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia.  This year, I begin my 26th year of teaching.  I spent my first nine years teaching at a private school.  I moved to Northside Elementary during my tenth year.  I have had the pleasure of being at Langston Road Elementary since the second year it was opened.  Over those 26 years, I have taught first, second, fourth, and fifth grade.

I have an undergraduate and a master's degrees are in Elementary Education from Toccoa Falls College and Fort Valley State University, respectively.  I also have a specialist's degree is in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College.

In my free time, I love to read-historical fiction and crime mysteries are my favorite-and hang out with my family.  I also am an adjunct professor at Middle Georgia State University where I currently teach an on-line class on Diversity in Education.
