Bio
Hello!
I’m so excited to be returning to Langston Road
Elementary School for my second year as your School Counselor!
I’m a proud native of Dodge County. I earned my Bachelor
of Business Administration from Valdosta State University and later completed
both my Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in School Counseling at Fort
Valley State University.
I’ve worked in education for the past seven years,
beginning as a teacher at Dodge Pre-K for two years before serving as a School
Counselor. Prior to joining Langston Road, I spent four years as the School
Counselor at Dodge County Middle School.
Supporting students is truly my passion. My goal is to help create a positive and encouraging school experience, one that students can look back on with pride and joy. I’m looking forward to partnering with our students, families, teachers, and staff to support both academic and social success.
One of my favorite quotes is by Maya Angelou, and it beautifully captures my philosophy as a counselor: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
