Hello, I am excited to enter into my 24th year as an art teacher at LRES for the '24-'25 school year. I am originally from Indiana, but I was raised in the metro Atlanta area where I graduated from Cross Keys High School in DeKalb County. I earned my BFA at The Savannah College of Art and Design and my teaching certificate at The University of West Georgia. I have two grown children, Fritz and Lily, who are my pride and joy. In my free time I enjoy the great outdoors, museums, reading, concerts and spending time with friends and family. It is my honor and privilege to teach young children all about art- how to make it, how to think, talk, and write about this ever so creative subject.
