The Media Club is new at Langston this year.  Each day students broadcast the school news/announcements through Zoom.  Only 5th graders are allowed to be a part of this club.  This gives these students a fun way to express themselves while giving out information.  Students work on communication skills as well as public speaking.  

1. Students must be in 5th grade
2. Students must fill out an application at the beginning of the year.
3. Students are required to audition
4. Only 10-12 students will be selected
5. Students must be willing to study and familiarize themselves with the script so they are not reading off the paper.
6. All selections will be made in September and there will be no one added after this.
7. Students must be willing to broadcast once a week for the entire school year.
8. Students have to be in the library no later than 8:10 to get ready for sound check and broadcasting.
