I am a 4th grade Teacher at Langston Road Elementary. This will be my 10th year teaching and my 8th year teaching 4th grade. I previously taught both 4th and 5th grade at DPES. I am a product of the Houston County School System and consider it a joy to be teaching in this amazing county. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood (B.S. Ed.) from Middle Ga State College and my Master of Education (M. Ed.) from Ga Southwestern.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband of 15 years, Cody, our daughter, Brystal (8) and our 2 boxer bulldogs. We love to fish, go on walks, and to cheer on our Ga Bulldogs!
I love to foster strong relationships with my students and encourage them to always do their best! I enjoy reading to my students and Social Studies is by far my favorite subject. Teaching is more than a job for me, it is a calling and I am very passionate about educating young minds. I am looking forward to another wonderful year here at Langston Road Elementary!
