Hello Stallions and welcome to first grade!  I was born and raised in West Virginia.  After graduating high school, I moved to Georgia, where I attended Georgia College & State University to obtain my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.  Later in my teaching career, I returned to Walden University where I earned a Master's degree in Reading & Literacy and then went on to earn my Educational Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership.  During my 21 years in education, I have had the privileged of teaching first and second grade students.  First grade is where my heart lies, and I love seeing the wonder and growth of students at this age.
