Hello Langston Road families! My name is Grace Watson, and I am a 1st grade teacher here at LRES. Growing up, I knew I always wanted to be a teacher and to make a difference in students' lives! This will be my fifth year teaching in Houston County. I have taught fourth grade and first grade. In 2017, I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College and State University. The next year, I obtained my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College and State University. In 2019, I earned my math endorsement through Houston County. I am currently working on my Educational Doctorate in Curriculum and Leadership from Columbus State University and my Teaching Support and Coaching Endorsement through Houston County. Although math was always my favorite subject in school, my favorite subject to teach is reading! Teaching students how to read and fostering a love of reading are my favorite things about first grade!
