Hey! My name is Amanda Barfield. I am a fourth grade teacher at Langston Road Elementary School. I am from Marshallvile, Ga. I am happily married and have four children. I graduated from Georgia Southwestern in 2007 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Since then I have trained teachers in Zambia (a country in southern Africa), taught at Veritas Classical Schools, home schooled children grades K-6th grade, and I am now in my seventh year of teaching for the Houston County School system. Teaching is my calling. I undoubtedly know it is what I was put on earth to do. I love watching children gain confidence through learning experiences in the classroom, as well as, grow and mature into who they are called to be throughout the year. Go Stallions!
